Founded in 1977, the Conde Cavaliers open the downtown Mobile parading season. Members proudly point out that they held a ball and a parade in their first year. The organization is named after the celebrated French general, Prince de Conde, for whom Fort Conde in downtown Mobile is named. It’s a large group, and these gents always like to throw a great time with their Floats in the Conde Cavalier Mardi Gras Parade in Mobile Alabama.
One of the group’s four permanent floats, The Conde Cavalier Express, is an impressive, self-propelled, three-unit train. The colorful, artfully displayed Floats in the Conde Cavalier Mardi Gras Parade in Mobile Alabama dazzle the parade goers.
